Meet The Founder

As the founder and CEO, Mike is the mastermind behind Triple 3’s beard natural oils and balms, while family members ensure that the company runs efficiently.

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Mike is a devoted father to three children and a grandfather of five. He enjoys caring for his dogs, exercising, nutrition, traveling, reading, and family time in his spare time. Currently relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to be closer to family, Mike has spent countless hours researching and brainstorming his unique product to make a brand that will be enjoyed.

How It Began

The company started quite an by accident. In 2018 Mike was involved in a near-fatal motorcycle accident. At the time, he was a successful ABKC dog breeder; however, his breeding and kennel business was put on the back burner due to his injuries. While recuperating, Mike began to delve into an entrepreneurial profession that he could start from home – beard products.

He eventually returned to dog breeding while also giving samples of his beard oil and balm products to family and friends, who passed them on with great reviews. From there, he expanded to local barber shops.

We expect the company to continue to grow in the coming months to include beard butter, beard wax, skin creams, grooming supplies, and beard gift sets.

How Does Beard Oil Work?

Beard oil is not a growth serum, but it does promote hair growth by preparing your face and by conditioning and hydrating your beard. A well-conditioned beard is less likely to break off on the ends, and the ends are less likely to split, which causes the thin, scraggly beard we are trying to avoid. Overall, beard oil works by conditioning your beard roots to tip, giving you a well-groomed, more polished look.

What Are the Benefits of Using Beard Oil? Do I Need It?

You most likely do! However, some people prefer beard balm. Using a conditioner on your beard (oil or balm) gives your beard that extra little something it needs to stay hydrated. Beard oil or beard balm is recommended to keep your beard soft and looking great.

What is the Difference Between Oil and Balm?

The main difference between an oil and a balm is the ingredients. In making beard oil, we use liquid oil; however, we are not limited to oils in liquid form when making beard balm. Many conditioning ingredients take a solid form, making them perfect for beard balm. Coconut Oil and Shea Butter are good examples of solid ingredients.

The beard balms use essential oils, but because we have more options for conditioners, they have more ingredients and are more hydrating than oils alone. It comes down to preference. When deciding between the two, consider the amount of conditioners you feel you need and the delivery method you prefer.
